Only schools mentioned are Texas, Kentucky, Duke and Ohio State - don't know if others are still in the mix.

I think I'm hoping for Texas--extend Barnes' tenure.

I'm less worried after last weekend. Texas fans are so distraught over losing to BYU that they couldn't care less about basketball. They will be so distracted with their hate of Mack Brown that they won't even register that they've started to suck at basketball.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

We probably do not really want him if he is not a switchable.

We very much wanted him...and he's a five-star center.

Other than that, you are spot on as always.

Hmmmm... We wanted him very much but he eliminated us--no matter there is always the hope of Lammers who fits us better.

Why do you hate everything?
“All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.” - T.E. Lawrence

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Oh yes, if someone disagrees with your view point, then that someone is a hater. About the only thing I hate is ND arrogance. How about you?

I don't think you're a "hater" Willie, but you're awfully hard to satisfy. MU as a program is in better shape than it has been in 35 years. Most feel that's something to celebrate but (based on your constant complaining and  criticizing) you seem very unhappy and angry about it. When people point this out you get angry at them.

Sorry, until we land a quality big I will "complain" "Seeming unhappy and angry" is your perception. And by the way, I never said that the program is not in good shape--just believe that a quality big with the rest of the talent will get us to the FF. That is my wish. Since when is having a wish, desire, or goal of a FF being unhappy/angry? Man, we have a lot of pseudo psychoanalysts on this board. From now on, I will try to remember to post those comments in teal.

Skink is the world's gift to this board on being an expert on hatred, irrationality and all things illogical. One can only aspire to have his "open mindedness" judging by such comments as "hatred, irrational hatred, illogical"

Many of us think we have two quality bigs this year, and several players that are quality that would have qualified as bigs prior to Buzz becoming the HC.  We are as set at the 4 and 5 positions as we've ever been since I've been following the program.  Even better than with Key and Mac when taking into concern depth.... certainly in terms of depth at the 4 and 5.

Now, would I like to see us land quality bigs, ready made and highly rated.  Sure.  But if Buzz can bring in lower rated bigs and develop them, or under appreciated bigs, that is even better, in my opinion.

Buzz has said he will not bring in a big just because he is big.  So, if we have to go with a PF at the 5, although not perfect, Buzz has shown that he can use a PF at the 5 with success, and get back what we loose on the defensive end on the offensive side.

Would love to see Buzz land a quality "big."  We are almost there now and the recruitment of a quality "big" will enable us to play against anyone.

Perhaps we were all better off prior to December, 2003 when the Terror Skink was still thought to be extinct....

Willie, people don't disagree with your point about a quality big - I think we all just got tired of reading it over and over and over and over and...........
