Have Nick N. coming in 2015 as a PG already and Duane Wilson/Dawson will be sophomores.  Who knows.

Not exactly NCAA elites.

Just wait.

Also remember that he's very close with Dwayne Bacon.

Very athletic, skilled. If he's a kid that will work (just don't know - need to see him live and learn more re: him) he can be excellent.

Wouldn't call him a "shooting guard". (Combo I'd be OK with.)
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Crazy hops that is for sure, Nick is a totally different type of guard.  He can play point, Nick can play the 2 guard.

He's rated #65 in the country on Scout

http://scouthoops.scout.com/a.z?s=75&p=9&c=4&cfg=bb&pid=88&yr=2015

And look at the teams recruiting him - in addition to MU and Murray State, there's Florida, Florida St, Memphis, Miami (Fl), Michigan and Ohio St. That should get Groin Pull off the ledge.

He's also #74 in the new 2015 Rivals top 100.  By the way, Noskowiak is now ranked in the top 60 by every major recruiting service (247Sports #42, ESPN #56, Rivals #57, Scout #44)!

Oh don't worry, this silly stuff doesn't put me on the ledge. Only pointing out that I judge a player's value by the list of schools recruiting him. And by recruiting, I mean making an actual offer...not dropping a form letter in the mail.

I was joking. That said, I don't think Scout would rank him that high and report that Florida, FSU, Memphis, Michigan and Ohio St were recruiting him if the schools interest amount to a form letter.

Finally, someone who gets it.  Athletic ability, basketball skills and fit with Marquette are all nice... but all that really matters is who else is recruiting a kid.  Murray State?  Give me a break.  Hell, two years ago we blew them away in the NCAA tournament.  And in the 2010 tournament, they lost by two to Butler, another no name school.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I judge a players value to Marquette on whether or not Buzz wants him or not.  We were fighting with South Florida for the services of Davante Gardner.  If Buzz wants him...and gets him...that is really all I need to know

That is why scouting services are not that good except at the top as those kids are scene all the time at the camps or tournaments.  A kid like John Dawson or the JC kids MU had might
have fallen thru the cracks, secondly, the big schools only take at most 3-4 kids a year which leaves room for a hard worker like Buzz to look in other areas then the bigs.  MU has more
creditability now but still is not an elite program that gets kids between 1-10, hopefully Buzz can get that one in 2 years. There is nothing wrong with getting kids from 50-100 on your
team.  Some work, some do not.  Eric Williams, Jamel Ferguson, etc.,  When you have 13 kids each year, it is hard to keep them all happy.  This year might be a problem, lots of talent
this year, all spots have 2 or 3 players looking for PT time, not easy.  Fun time to be a fan.
