Makes the most sense
"Half a billion we used to do about every two months...or as my old boss would say, 'you're on the hook for $8 million a day come hell or high water-.    Never missed in 6 years." - Chico apropos of nothing

In my time as the mascot, we always took a charter flight.  Sometimes we took two.

There is absolutely zero chance they are flying commercial now.

What was the name on the side of the plane when you flew charter?  Airlines fly charter flights, too.  Delta flies commercial.  Delta flies charter.   Look up flight #8926 in Delta's timetable... I'll bet you don't find it (because it's a special flight designation given to charter flights).
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

For Bosie in 2009, they took Allegiant.  Must be taking Delta now.

i need to get a few more promotions so I can know cool facts about private flying like this.

Yup, we always took charter to the NCAA and many other games when I was working for MU.  It sucks if you lose the first game because you leave that day, no hanging around.  I remember when we got our doors blown off by Providence when we played in Charlotte.  We had to load that plane (727 I believe) ourselves...the entire staff was on the tarmac throwing bags into the underbelly of the plane with one airport guy securing them.  Landed in Milwaukee like 2:00am or whatever it was.

Use FlightRadar24 app...you'll be able to pin it down very quickly

And once you do, you'll want to bookmark www.flightaware.com on every device you own.  Takes real-time info (e.g. flight status, schedules, history, etc.) from the FAA, not the filtered information you get from the airlines.

BTW - Plane is on approach over Lake Michigan right now... 5 minutes to touchdown.

I prefer FlightRadar24 app, but flight aware is similar.

Still have nightmares of Austin Croshere hitting that half court shot at the half and them just thumipng us (along with God Shamogod traveling every time he had the ball).

That was a wild week.  Went into CUSA with slim chances to make NCAA tournament....the guys won four games in St. Louis to earn the bid and the AD staff, team, coaches, etc, were absolutely on cloud 9.  Less than a week later we got annihilated in that game, season over.  Croshere was amazing.

I along with a group of friends showed up at 1:15. Hahaha. Pretty good crowd, but some left. Maybe 60 people? Pretty good for two in the morning.

Much better than 2011, there were maybe 15-20 of us out there.

What I don't understand is .. if the plane was a MU charter (obviously) .. why was Buzz unhappy about not being able to go back to the hotel due to the NCAA?

Maybe the NCAA pays for the hotel, but not any "extra" nights..
