The masses have spoken, as the poll indicates. Mods, put Jae or Jamil up and let's move on.

TBD has the most Stud of the Game facetime so far.  He looks like a big too.  I think we could use a 15 footer, though he looks almost as confused with the basketball as Mbao.

Ha! I was just about to post: "The SOTG was clearly DJO so go ahead and give it to Crowder already." The mods beat me to it.

DJO is probably the most under-appreciated player MU has had in a long time. The guy is a scoring machine that Marquette is desperately going to miss next year.

Also, why bother taking a poll if you don't give the SOTG to the guy who wins the poll?

So I guess it's NOT a democracy.

I'm OK with that - I'm not the one(s) paying for the server.   ;)
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

It's an OUTRAGE!   I'm cancelling my........oh.   Right.   Never mind.    Carry on.

ya not sure why so many people wanted DJO?  And no i do not under appreciate DJO!

I think he is great, but in this one game they had the same ammount of points.  Crowder had more rebounds, steals, and blocks and only 1 less assist.

I know stats dont tell it all, but really surprised the voting was as decidely for DJO as it was.

I voted for DJO because he put the team on his back in the first half and lead a 24-point swing in under 15 minutes. He then added 10 points and 4 assists in the second half.

Crowder's overall numbers were better but, like you said, stats don't tell it all. He had 5 points, 1 reb, 2 assts in the final 5 minutes when the game was all but over.

It was because we called the Mods out for being hairy wet cats...they wanted to prove they had some stiff in their drink.   ;D

A lot of MU's slow starts offensively are due to DJO. For whatever reason he misses shots early. DJO missed three straight shots (maybe 4) while Cincy was jumping out to a 16-4 lead. Once he gets going he is very hard to stop.

But hasn't Jae disappeared totally on the offensive side in the first half of many games? I seem to recall lots of them where he has 0, 2 or 4 points at the half and then wakes up in the 2nd half.
