Will JT & JF be there? Curious because I think it will show how mutual the decisions were.

Usually the absences from the banquets are the first signs of a transfer - then you get yelled at on the other board for posting such information and people insisting they saw that player at the banquet (but was mysteriously not introduced when the team was introduced).

This year is interesting that the transfers (at least 2 of them) are known prior to the banquet.  Will there be any additional absences?

I'm guessing madtownwarrior was referring to Dave singleton. He wasn't introduced at the banquet but Dodds insisted he saw him in the bathroom during the banquet.

yep, that was the one.   And who cares - generally did not care other than it was at the time of some off the court issues as well as it being the amazing the "I saw him in bathrooom" defense...  and scolding of publishing such info

No it's not invitational only. Just open your pocket book at $35/per adult, and you're in.

Sign up is due today folks!

Hope Vander and Buzz don't get into a food fight.

Would love to see and hear the reaction when Vander is wished well in the NBA Draft. Bet it will be priceless!

At the 2008 banquet, Dom announced he would not be entering the draft and would be returning to Marquette for his senior year. The place erupted.

What do you think it will be? If it's anything but 100% positive, I will be disappointed. It would be embarrassing.  It will mean that MU fans are what the Badger fans think we are!  Plus, how do you think Buzz would react to less than enthusiastic support for one of his players?
