Sad to see him go - he's one of the good ones. I wonder what this will mean for Ben as the MU beat reporter going forward.

Congrats to Matt and his wife. You don't get a chance to follow a dream everyday, and the severance package came at an opportune time.

Mattie V with one last great story . Loved how he followed MU and that why I tried to post as many of his articles as possible. Having a good local beat writer is an intangible positive, and I was glad Ben came in and was equally as solid.

I am confident Mattie V will find some work in Indianapolis. I also am confident his wife is going to be an outstanding physician in whatever specialty she chooses.
