I hope everyone stops talking about Dominic James being ready for -- and headed to -- the NBA. He is nowhere near ready.

He is still developing skills that are standard among those playing professional basketball. And that development is far from complete.

James’ shooting from the floor is spotty bordering on plain lousy and his free-throw shooting stinks.

Do him a favor and stop talking about where he would -- will?-- go in the draft. If James goes to the NBA, it will not be anytime soon.

Yeah, I think he let things get to his head a bit. But also, he didn't start this. He never asked for columnists and other people for all this hype. So it's not like he's to blame for the whole going to the NBA thing.
