Since we have dispatched of the bears in their home stadium and are now on our way to the Super Bowl, the next two weeks will be a fun couple of weeks for hype.

The Pack deserve their own thread for the Super Bowl and that is here.

I will start with a video of the FREEZER!

Super Bowl...two words.

That's okay, it wasn't as bad as Jermichael Finley's proclamation after the Packers Family Night scrimmage back in August.

"I got one word for y'all: Dallas, Texas, Super Bowl, baby."

 :-\

At least he was right.

Actually the first line opened at -3 during the AFC Championship game. If the game were against the Jets, they had the line at -4.
But I like to throw handfuls...

The Packers have always been my most important team. Growing up, my happiness often rose and declined as the Packers' successes did.

As much as I love MU and all, this is bigger for me than any possible Final Four run could be, even if it happened while I was a student.

I agree with all of this.  I don't think I have ever been happier at the result of a sporting event than I was last Sunday.  I'm even counting SB 31.  Maybe it was because they beat their rivals...maybe it was because of the tension at the end of the game...maybe it was because I just expected the '96 team to win.  But when Shields intercepted that ball, I was just elated.

For me it was more vindication that Ted Thompson made the right move and A-rod is the man, not that he had to prove anything else, but now he has proved almost all of the doubters wrong about his ability to manage a team.  We are in good hands with TT

This is great...Go Pack Go, and all that....BUT   I would trade it for an MU Championship.....Not even close.

This is a tough call for me. MU keeps it close, but ultimately fades down the stretch... Packers by a nose.

The exterior lighting of Eckstein Hall will go green and gold – either Wednesday or Thursday depending on the snow.

Wow, I would take another final 4 run in a second over any GB victory.  I am quite surprised more dont feel the same here.  Actually I am quite disappointed.

I like football more than basketball.  I have been a Packer fan all my life, but an MU fan really only since my teenage years.

To the steelers defense, the song didn't even need to be changed.

The team of my youth was the White Sox, and their World Series win in 2005 meant more to me than any amount of titles by the Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks ever could. That said, it pales in comparison to a Warrior's national championship.
