I thought Rowsey's last one was the easiest ever.  This one is even easier.  M2N...ties his record for 3's and breaks the all time single game scoring record.

Duh. The most no brainier decision in the history of Scoop. Such a no brainer I'm not even bothering typing his name because you all know.

Markus' "slump" was just him saving up all that production for tonight.

He who does not need to be named had one helluva second half comeback tonight. That's real leadership right there. It's even better considering how much the announcers continued to bring up his slump in the first half.

Makes me wonder what the record is for points scored in a single half. He's got to be in the running, right?

His stats:

17 for 29
11 for 19 threes
7 for 7 free throws
2 turnovers
1 foul

Just a pleasure to watch, believe he had 42 in second half.  That record may stand for a long, long time.

At halftime, I sent this text:

Is Markus Howard Dom James without the defense (peaking freshman year)?

The no brainiest of no brainers.

Shout out to Hauser for a big OT shot to clinch and very good defense on Lindsey.

Additional shout out to Elliott for stopping Cartwright and forcing the TO with the game on the line.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

TAMU's go it right. Markus no brainer. 52 just blows my mind. Never seen anyone score 50 in college.

Big shouts to Greg for the tremendous defense and Sam for the ice in his veins

He had 42 after the first half and I believe 32 in the second. I'd be surprised if that wasn't a Marquette record.

Wow.  He made that long three and then just decided tonight was his night and just took off.  Best individual performance since DWade against KY.  That was the SOTG of the year.

I'm pretty sure that I didn't score 52 points during my 4 years of intramural basketball at MU.

Hell, I'm not sure my TEAM scored 52 points in 4 years!

Obviously, I'm going with Elliott for SOTG.
