I'm not sure it was an obvious foul, but as close as the refs were calling it today they should have blown the whistle.

I thought the officials were all over with the calls today...Nova was all over us especially on lazar with double teams pushing him around with no calls and yet they call all these little ticky tacky fouls for Nova! This game was not  consistent in the foul calling which led to Marquette losing the game.

the first half was almost a complete opposite from the second half regarding fouls.. with the way they were calling it the second half the foul shoulda been called.. I don't understand why they would set the tone they did in the first and abruptly change it after halftime though.

Butler had the rim to himself if he goes up hard right away instead of trying to draw a foul.

It was not a foul.  Butler went up weak with a double pump to avoid contact.  He needed to attack the rim.

You have to make that foul call, I'm sorry. That's the game right there...although I guess it's inevitable Reynolds would have driven by our whole team and scored at the buzzer for the W.

It's really too bad...if we would have won two or even just one of all these close games to ranked teams, it could end up changing an entire season.

Can't wait to lose in 5OT to Gtown.

No ref is going to bail out a guy going up weak in the last ten seconds of the game.

Hey Vikings, I like what you've done with the basement.

The only time that gets called is if you are Virginia Tech and it is the NIT Final.

Man, I am still bitter . . .

The call could have gone either way. Butler makes it not matter if he goes up strong rather than pulling that double pump move. Also, it'd dumb to cry about fouls after the game and makes us look like sore losers.

If Jimmy goes up to dunk the ball, he gets the dunk and the foul. I knew we'd lose when we were up two and Lazar missed the 3 from the corner.

It would appear that Jimmy Fracking Butler is mortal after all...

Butler already passed the mortality test in the FL St. and WVU games.

No foul there.  Jimmy has to go up strong and dunk the ball there.  The only way to stop that would have been an obvious foul.  Fortune favors the bold.

No foul. Go up and dunk the ball.  Game over.  Stripes don't win or lose games period.

Can't wait to lose in 5OT to Gtown.

We do not have enough Swingin' Richards to make it to 5 OT's
