Does MU pull the upset on Wednesday?

This will be the first game where we truly get absolutely steam rolled.

We've competed against almost (Seton Hall) every team we've played this season (home and road) and stayed within striking distance well into the second half of every game - Ohio St., Michigan St, Wisconsin, Xavier, St. John's, Georgetown, etc..  I don't see any reason tomorrow will be different.  Villanova is likely going to have to scratch and claw, but their talent and experience will likely wear down MU eventually.

I do think before the year is over, we're going to get somebody (maybe a couple even) that no one saw coming.  A team that is as close as MU is so often, usually get over the hump finally.

Nova will probably win comfortably, but I am gonna root like hell anyway.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

MU will roll just because it is the one game they should lose by a lot.

Wojo will mishandle something to cost us because he's been such a train wreck on the bench this year.  Another Dukiet in the making, just got lucky in recruiting with Henry.

Recruiting Henry was legit. The rest I agree with.

We've competed in every game and I expect the same. Doubt we pull the upset but I do think it will be a good game. Slow the pace and we cover the spread but don't snap the losing streak yet.

It will look like the standings say it should.  The ninth place team visiting the first place team.

We weren't steam rolled against SH?  At one point we were down by 22 at home.

Exactly. This is the only logical answer.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

You don't get a lot of respect when you have dropped 5 in a row, including 3 at home.

I think we get steam rolled but that doesn't mean Wojo was a bad choice or is a bad coach. We are not playing with a full compliment of players to compete in the Big East this year... Plain and simple. Nor are we regressing to a lower level of overall competence. Just a transition year is all.......... Relax. Not time for "Chicken Littles" of the message board to dominate the chatter.......

Anyone thinking this current team can compete at a high level vs. top D1 programs just doesn't understand basketball. We just don't have the horses but doesn't mean we can't come out and play hard every night, and should. We CAN be competitive most nights but will realistically have to play perfect, error free games to win. Are we going to get to the NCAA, no. Should we pack up the tents, no.

We'll be OK.
