Title: NY Times Article on Markus
Post by: warriorchick on March 14, 2019, 09:17:33 AM
You know, if the rest of the season is a train wreck on the court, I will be disappointed.  But I will still be unbelievably proud of the young men on this team, especially this one.

The team and its performance are important, but the kids who play the game are still the centerpiece. Markus is a shining example of a leader, and a true student-athlete. Regardless of where he plays pro ball and how long his career lasts, he has a very bright future.

Markus should make us all proud.

Well stated, Chick. This is the kind of character I like to see revealed.

It's more then about wins and losses at Marquette.

Hope they win tonight but if they lose still very proud of Markus, his teammates and this coaching staff.
