going to Providence?
« on: January 13, 2009, 10:24:58 AM »
I'm thinking about journeying to Providence from western MA to catch the game on Saturday. Anyone else going? Last time MU was there, I ordered tickets last minute from PC/Ticketron, but there were lots of folks selling them at the gate. Any ideas whether tickets will be tough to come by? I suppose it would be fun to be in the MU section, but if I recall they were kind of nosebleed seats.

Is the Trinity Brewing Company the place that MU fans go to before the game (which doesn't start until 9pm EST...why's it so late?)?

Go MU!

I'll be there with wife and possibly daughter.  Game is probably late due to TV considerations.  Am sitting in Sec 232 K 11,12,13.  Bought these tickets on line last night.

Yes, Trinity Brewhouse on Fountain Street woiuld be a good place for a pregame snack and libation, say 7:30 ish?

would any MU fans like to meet there pre/post game?

My roommate and I from college will most likely stop by Trinity prior to the game. Go MU!

Trinity is a great spot.  Will be there with a MU crew, and with my fiance who is a PC grad :\

That's 186 Fountain, to be precise.  See you there.

Looks like my plans are coming together...now just gotta get tickets. I'll try to spend some quality time at the Trinity before the game. Look forward to meeting up with other fans.

If Trinity is where the MU gathering is happening then it sounds like a plan to me.
