I'll only post 8 as I don't think the others would gain many votes.

Went with Pitino.  I despise Huggins and the thugs he brings where he goes.  But on some weird level I have this little sliver of respect for him.  Can't explain.

Now Pitino, that guy is just slime.

Voted for Huggins.  Like Brey and Dixon.

I went with Thuggins, but it was really close for Pitino, who is an overrated prima donna, and Boeheim, who is a first class whiner.

Can I vote for all three?

+1.

Don't know what it is about Huggins who is just a terrible person, but for some reason I have a small amount of respect for him.

I'm surprised Boeheim isn't getting more votes.  He whines, recruits thugs and his teams typically underacheive.  And then you take into account the Devendorf situation and there should be more support.

Also, Calhoun has turned into an arrogant bastard the past few years.  Granted its tough competition, but Boeheim and Calhoun should be better represented.

If I had the chance, I'd give both Thuggins and Pitino each a half of a vote. I ended up going with Thuggins because of his incessant whining.

Problem is we don't have the same history with those guys.

MU fans have hated Huggins since 1991.

My feelings are the opposite, I despise pitino but I respect him. While I think Huggins is a classless drunk. Call it some New York Love. ON a side note how could anyone hate JT3 a jesuit educated (Hail Gonzaga!) Individual who runs a clean program.

Boeheim is a whiner, and he recruited Devendorf, who is a once-in-a-generation POS.
Dixon I like, though I'm not crazy about Pitt.
Pitino is a slimeball, and he got my vote. History w/ MU is on his side.
Calhoun is a prick.
Brey is a douche. Sweet (mock) turtlenecks.
Huggins...for some reason, I respect the guy. Don't particularly care for him, though.
Thompson I respect quite a bit. Too bad Georgetown fans are such tools.
Gonzalez is just kind of there. Probably has something to do with the fact that the Hall is awful.

It would be interesting to see who would win this poll if we hadn't just played West Virginia.  I bet Pitino would win in a squeaker.

Does beating Huggins by 22 points make you dislike him more?
Personally, I like Thompson but thought I'd add him just in case others didn't feel the same way.  I also have no problem with Brey, but there's so much anti-ND on this board that I thought I'd add him just in case.

Eh, I would pick Huggins no matter what, but Slick Rick might not be foremost in people's minds as we haven't played him and his merry band of lazy urinators yet this season.

I hate facing a Huggins team and I jump more out of my chair when MU plays against his teams than just about any other.  Huggy bear is not a nice guy.  He is not a good guy that you want to root for but I do admire the toughness of his teams.  It really is hard to explain but you always have to bring your "A" game against his teams and be mentally and physically tough.  Any coach that can do that consistently earns something but I don't know if the word respect is the right word.

Voted Pitino, if it was regardless of conference it would definitely be that open mouthed tool Bo
