Post by: real chili 83 on September 15, 2014, 09:20:34 PM
Just read an article that Bob is retiring.

No offense, Steve Homer Ellenson True.

Bob Bach is legend.

Hold on folks, the anti gravity man has just entered the line up.  and so on....

Between Bob and Ron Cuzner, Milwaukee had some amazing radio talent.

Then, there is Tim, the rock and roll animal, who brought us The Who in 1983.

I grew up listening to Bob Bach on WISN radio broadcasts, very distinctive voice.

Who preceded him as MU's radio voice?  Bach is as far back as I go.

I will always remember his call of Dewayne Johnson's last second shot to sent our game against Missouri into OT and eventually the biggest win of Hank Raymond's last season as coach.

I grew up on Bob Bach's radio calls, too.  My brother and I still use the Bob Bach voice to say "AR-QUETTE!" once in a while.  When Bach got excited he often sounded like he was omitting the opening "M"...
