Marquette's "Temporary" Band
« on: November 21, 2006, 01:06:15 AM »
Just got back to the hotel.  At the game students from a local high school band sat in Marquette's corner.  They were given Marquette Madness t-shirts and even played a choppy Ring Out Ahoya.

Oh...yeah...a few things to mention there...

1) The HS kids did a Nice job.

2) Why did Texas Tech not have a "temporary" band?  The other 3 schools did.

3) Duke didn't give "their" band t-shirts.  Marquette and AFA did (good move).

4) Seems like they put the bands in the wrong corners.  The air force band was across the court from the AFA section.  The MU band was across the court from the MU section.  I donno, just seemed a little weird.

Yeah the locations of things seemed very missplaced.  I think I heard though that the Marquette bench will be on the same side as the fans for the Duke game however.

not sure I follow.. you saying that marquette bench tonight is supposed to be where the TT bench was last night?
