ESPN article on Lockett's mother's cancer struggles
« on: May 07, 2012, 04:19:38 AM »
Good read (didn't see it posted anywhere) on the adversity and struggles Mr. Lockett has faced in life.  A huge coup for Buzz on the court, but his value to the team will be felt in the locker room and away from the court.  Can't wait to see this guy suit up in blue & gold!

I think between the OP article and this interview, a pretty clear picture emerges.    First of all, Trent, God bless you and your family during this challenge.    Everyone understands the burden that faces you as a young man.    Second, kudos to Sendek and company.    Pure class in this situation and I hope if the shoe is ever on the other foot that MU and its fanbase can act as responsibly.    Third, MU is getting a really solid citizen.    Fourth, welcome to MU, young man.
