Title: Dwyane and Dirk only 2 players to hit 50% from 4 /to 16 feet

In the entire NBA, Dwyane Wade and Dirk were the only 2 players to hit over 50% of all of there shots taken from between 4 and 16 feet from the basket.

It really is a matter of all getting to the rim, to the line, or hitting three-pointers from the sides off a pass (96% of NBA three - pointers from either side are off assists and 42% of threes from there are made).

Dwyane is the worst three-point shooter in NBA history among 3-point shooters.
Of the 307 players in NBA history to attempt 1,000 three-point shots, eight have a career three-point percentage lower than 30 percent. Wade is one of them.

But what distinguishes him from this ill-shooting pack is that he gets worse when the game is on the line: Over the course of his career, from 2003 to present, 45 players have attempted 200 three-point shots in clutch time -- when the score is within five points in the fourth quarter or OT. Of those 45 players, Wade is dead last in three-point percentage at 25.1 percent more than 2 full percentage points than the next worse.

Context is needed.

Only 78 players attempted at least 150 shots between four and 16 feet in 2013-14. Of those 78, only Dwyane and Dirk hit over 50% of those shots.

I think it was pretty obvious he was referring to the three point shooting stat that the post above yours pointed out.

Maybe MU should start remedial reading classes.

1. I never said Wade sucks

2. I said he was a terrible shooter on 3-point shots - and, it doesn't matter what you think. He is terrible.

3. Instead of making inane remarks, I used actual shooting statistics.
