Tough place to play....

A top 10 team should win this...

I would take Marquette especially this year

Go warriors!

Agreed this is the year to beat them at Hinkle.  If not now, when?  It’s not like they are unbeatable at home.  Marquette has just not done it lately. We are better and need to prove it tomorrow.

Interesting.

Most coaches don't like talking about point spreads, but Wojo definitely could use the underdog thing to get his guys' attention.

Has there been a game this season where the line moved toward Marquette? It seems like this happens every game. I don't gamble, why is that?

Based on analytics/statistics, this is right where it should be. Kansas lost by double digits to Texas today.

Winning on the road in conference season is hard.

Winning on the road in conference season is hard.

That's the general belief, but John Fanta noted on the Real Chilly Podcast that the home teams in Big East play were just 17-14 (at the time of the interview).

If you remove MU & Nova games (as they've dominated home & away) the home team is currently 12-11 in Big East play. So basically every game is a coinflip, unless you're playing one of the.

Including MU & Nova, it's 21-17 for the home team, just a .556 winning percentage.

Butler owns Marquette.   They've won 11 of the last 14, and the last 5 straight.

I love we're rated 10 ... but were overrated at 10.

Straight up, MU is better than Butler...Butler is good...Butler is good at home...MU is average on the road (yes we are!).

If we beat Butler we will be "good on the road".

I hope we beat Butler. I think we can beat Butler...if I have to bet my house, I bet Butler...But whats cool is the Golden Eagles are full of surprises.

Well were really no worse then the 5 teams ranked below us so its not really that much of an overrated team..

This is a game they should win. Getting #3 seed is very important and a win here goes all long way to achieving the goal.

Lots of sharp money on Butler.

That's usually a bad sign. But the sharps have been wrong a couple times on MU games this year.

Who is underrated behind us? This is a meaningless comment if you can't provide evidence as to who is underrated. We can't be overrated unless someone else is underrated.

Sharps had Gtown when they thought Markus was playing.

The over/under at 149 seems pretty high to me. Butler hasn't been scoring a ton of points in conference play, and I assume that our defensive focus will be back tonight after some higher scoring games lately. Slowing it down seems like a logical way to control the game on the road.

Any other takers on the under?

Yes they did. Also had X and Creighton to a lesser extent. On the flipside, they also had SJU and Indiana.

This line makes sense... I get the metrics and the systems in place. But I mean at the Same time is ridiculous. The 10th ranked projected 3 seed is a 3 point dog to the projected first four out team? Road or not just no respect for marquette. Silly
