Embarassing display from Scoop posters.  Rough game yes.  A reason to just think the season is doomed and we are one and one in the NCAA?  Overreaction city.
I mean this half has been worse than any I remember, and it's against DePaul... I'm not sure anything written on a message board can be an overreaction to this dumpster fire of a half.

Worst game of the year by far. Going to bed. No fire. No chip on the shoulder. Disappointed.

Apologies for offending your delicate sensibilities.

I have a terrible feeling about this second half.

I blame you

What other kinds of reasons would you be looking for at this point in the season, exactly? Is there a strong recent history of Marquette teams suddenly figuring it out late in the season and turning on the afterburners?

Season is not doomed but we just got waxed by a bad DePaul team. I would say expectations are not high right now for the ncaa tourney.

Agreed - this embarrassment of a second half has been the result of carelessness, and lack of effort and focus.  Mitchell looks like the only player who’s given a rat’s ass this half.

I don’t see an overreaction.  I see a team that continues to regress.  Even the home win vs. Butler was poorly executed for much of the game.  What about this final stretch of regular season games gives you optimism for the post season?

What do you even say to your team after a clown show like that. I guess if you’re Shaka you look inward because this collapse is too widespread for attribute to individual players.

I don't see a lot of cohesion and I'm not sure why we have gone off the rails,.Especially defensively.

He has earned a ton of minutes going forward based on his last 2 performances IMO. Arguably our best player over that span.

At this point anyone who expects a win in the tournament needs their head checked

Jesus.  Embarrassing.  The team has had 1 bad conference loss prior to this game - Butler on the road.  DePaul isn't a slouch team with Freeman Liberty.

Elon - since Feb 2 beating Villanova, this team has play like dog crap.  But keep telling yourself they are going to turn it on.

Jesus...it's a different team..a different coach.  DePaul played really well..we didn't play well.  It happens.  It's one freaking game.

This team hasn’t looked good even at home vs GTown or Butler. They are bad. It sucks

One game yes, but the trend over the last month has not been encouraging.

It only looks bad when you factor in all the other bad games recently. Otherwise, everything looks really good right now.
