I remember following Lee Elder when he was a regular the GMO. I was very happy to see him be part of the 2021 Masters. Definitely has a big role in the history of the PGA and I always pulled for him. He and Lee Trevino had a great playoff at GMO and Trevino was worried about missing flight to The British Open due to the length of the playoff.

8 hole playoff.  It was pretty neat to see him at Augusta this past April.  Glad he got that moment.

Lee was a great gentleman under some very difficult conditions and a fine competitor. RIP.
