Lol. People bitch when they play straight up. People bitch when he changes.

How about this. Purdue is better, bigger and more experienced. It was always going to be an uphill battle.

Had no issue playing straight up. Haas was shooting well but I'd much rather take my chances there than give up wide open 3s.

+1000 he let Heldt guard him one on one too long, now he's doubled to long...would it really hurt them any worse to TRY a possession or two of zone and how about some full court pressure? Speed them up..they love playing slow. They cant play fast with their two bigs.

Someone doesn't understand how our offense works

I agree. I was just saying that other people are complaining about them not trying something different.

The biggest problem is that the interior defense sucks against good bigs like this.

Rowsey is a rally killer tonight. Play within yourself.

Need someone else to be able to handle the ball, make plays.  Howard is a scorer, hasn't been a primary ball handler or distributor.  Cheatham is a non-factor.  Missing JJJ -  could take the ball and drive, and excellent passer for a wing.

Check the book. I think a travel counts as a foul

Yeah I didn’t think this was going to be as big of an issue as it’s turned out to be.

Going to have to.   Who else is going to create a shot right now.   Whole team is gassed.

Give me an F’NG BREAK. I rush back from the meeting, tune into the rest of the game (knew the score was close, didn’t want to start from the beginning), look up the game thread and it is F’NG UNREADABLE because all of you so-called fans have decided to sit in your armchairs on your keyboards trashing some fine 18-22-year-old because they do not meet your definition of basketball perfection. Why do you even watch the games if they make you so miserable?

This serves as a great reminder to me to stay out of the game thread from now on. Maybe I can convince the mods to give me the double secret password for the site where actual fans post.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

The defensive rotations in the 2nd half were brutal. Super slow, little to no communication.

I don't want to know what Purdue's eFG was in the 2nd half. It had to be beyond terrible.

We fronted Haas the entire first half. We were only down 2 at half despite our offense being atrocious. We shot what? 31% in the first half? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Doubling Haas was disastrous. Going to zone would have been worse. Fronting with Hauser seemed to have decent success. If we had the offense going in the first half, we would have had a double digit halftime lead.

Zone against an elite 3 point shooting team with our lack of length? They would have killed us. Our man to man and allowing just 2 pointers is what kept us close. Having to double in second half killed us, think Wojo did it trying to prevent Heldt and Theo fron fouling out.  Did not get it to work. Heldt is who he is, backup center, that is why Wojo got Theo, Morrow and Froling. Howard has to be smarter than fouling out the way he did too much of a valuable weapon to go out like that. Sam had to expended too much energy on D. Wojo was not bad, he switched defenses, did a goid job subbing and we had some really good open looks that didn’t fall in first half.

TAMU I agree but I think Wojo went double team to try to avoid Theo and Heldt from fouling out
