Nicolet vs. Washington

D2 state Title at 630 for those that are local.
5 (maybe more) high major players in this game.
Hope we have some staff in Madison tonight.

I suspect they will be there.  Btw, the game is on 1007 on Spectrum.

Do kids stay home as much anymore?

Crean just landed a local kid. I sure as hell would be giving it my all.

Of course it happens, but does it happen like it used to?  I'm not so sure.

Crean got a local kid to go to UGA when there is really no other competition in the state. Georgia Tech has really fallen off the map of late...no NCAA appearances since 2010.   We have to deal with Madison, which makes things harder in my opinion.  Yes, it can happen, but no slam dunk especially if kid wants warmer climate and a chance to try something new.

Did Wojo burn the Milwaukee bridges by letting DuWil and Burton go?

Agreed, but by local I'm including beyond just Milwaukee.  Madison area kids, Chicago, etc.  Maybe that's too generous of a regional map by me.

I don't think so. Duane still loves the team. He is also very well respected at MU.

Haha....we certainly are not competing with your team to the west for these guys. We don’t have to “deal” witg Madison. You’re love affair with Madison doesn’t mean they get top recruits. I will bet you whatever you want that none of these top 3 recruits from Nicolet or top 2 recruits from Washington end up at Madison. Whatever you want to bet.

Wojo didn't let anyone go.......they decided to transfer for different reasons.

Happens all the time.

My love affair....oh how tender and cute....like this...?

Oh how cute   https://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=40849.msg538675#msg538675

More cuteness  https://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=40849.msg538827#msg538827

Still more   https://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=40849.msg539138#msg539138

I could go on and on destroying your little myth.

I have no idea where the Milwaukee kids will go, but I do know there are other Wisconsin kids and Chicago area that we wanted and didn't get.  My bigger point is that we have to deal with a top 25 program down the road to recruit the state.  The comment was made about Georgia, and they don't.  The state has basically no good major basketball programs.

Ok.....I’m convinced.  ::)
We don’t have to compete with Bucky for any top recruits as you suggested.

Actually, we do, but not necessarily these guys here even though they are also recruiting them hard.

I enjoyed disproving your nonsense about UW-madison as my favorite team....glad you man'd up to acknowledge it finally...oh wait...you didn't.
