How has DePaul's recruiting coming along?? That was a weird transfer you guys had when Gordon announced he was transferring.

So Suggs may as well be out then basically Davis and Garcia are our two big priorities left?

I wouldn't say Suggs is out.

That said, IU is full court pressing Garcia with Love cutting his list and only 1 scholly left. Need to hope the inroads made early are strong.

So, when was the last time we beat Arizona for a recruit?  Yeah, they didn't make Oso's final four, but they offered.

I only think that we had to beat Arizona State in state for Markus.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Said it earlier, Lewis and Ighodaro make a great first two pieces to a class. Would love to add a crown jewel. Get one of Suggs/Garcia/Davis and then you can fill the last two with projects or transfers and you still have a great class. Add two of them and hot damn.

Welcome to Marquette, Oso!!! Great to have already added two long, athletic, versatile bigs -- who are both ranked Top 100 and look to be rising fast. MU's Class of 2020 is shaping up nicely. Adding Garcia and Davis or Hoggard would arguably make it Wojo's best so far, with or without Suggs.

Yes.  JBF has been quoted in articles saying it's 70-30 he will reclassify to 2020.

This is not the end all be all, by 247 puts our class at #15 in the country at the moment and most of the 14 teams ahead of us have 3 or 4 commits. If we landed say Garcia, their class calculator would put us at #2 in the country with only Kentucky above us.

Lot of game still to play and the 5 stars commit late so even is we got Garcia, we wouldn't finish #2. But it gives you an idea of the solid start we're off to.

Very exciting!! Gets me anxious for the other recruits to follow suit. Has there been any word from Garcia since his tweet over a week ago saying he is cutting his list soon?

That would push us to the current #1, just ahead of Kentucky according to their class calculator. But we wouldn't stay that way once all the 5 stars committed. I would guess that a class like that would be towards the back of the top 10.

I suspect still #2 for now, though volume does matter. Kentucky has 3 top-45 recruits. Add those two and I think Marquette would likely be right around the top-10 when all is said and done.

Brown-Ferguson was offered shortly after the Houston prospect camp.  When the staff learned he was thinking about reclassifying, they amped up pursuit to make him a priority.

Plessy v. Ferguson was later overturned by Brown v. Board of Education.

This is a great class but why are people acting like we've never been here before or haven't been here in a "long long time" Deonte, Duane and Jajuan. Markus, Sam and Brendan. Cadougan, Williams, Maymone.

We've had classes of 3 top 100s before let's get Garcia before we anoint it as a god send of a class.

Edit: on paper it's still a lower rank than just Henry and Haanif or vander and Jamail.

That wasn't the part in quotes 82. The part that was in quotes was we haven't seen a class like this in a long long time.

It matters because many thought the Hausers' departure meant that bad times were ahead. Starting a class with two top 100 recruits counters that argument.
