Who would you add?

After watching Pope John Wall serve up a beastly alley-opp to DeMarcus Cousins it got my roommate and I thinking....if you could add one current college player to Marquette's squad this year who would it be??  PS this is just for fun, I'd rather not have any idoits come on this thread and run their mouths about how I should be happy with what we got and blah blah blah.

I would have to choose Cousins, not only is he a 6'10 beast that can dominate the paint but his name is sweet.

why would you add to more guards? Our guards already do fine limiting turnovers and we already nail the 3 ball, we need a big guy who can rebound. Im actually shocked you would want reynolds or wall over cousins.

Jarvis Varnado from Miss St.  He changes games down low defensively. With 5 blocks per game, seriously how many alters does he force?  He scores 10 ppg, which isnt tremendous, but we aren't built offensively to feed the post anyway.  I think he would fit into our current flow and structure the best.  Plus, how incredibly scrappy would that front court be between Varnado, Zar, and Jimmy hanging around doing a little of everything? Scary.

Really? You wouldn't want a 6'9 220lbs athlete who can do it all on the court? He averages 17 and 7 a game for a much bigger team than we are already, and would be the most talented player offensively on the team...easy. I can understand someone rather wanting another player, but 'throw up in my mouth'? Grow up and stop the I hate every white player at Duke thing....and for the record if you don't think Harangody would be a very nice addition as well, you haven't been watching enough college basketball.

Maybe you are right that he is an awful teammate/ball hog or whatever. But I was mentioning him b/c he plays on a team that relies on the three as much if not more than us, would be our biggest guy on the floor, can run the floor great for a big man and is a very good rebounder. I think picking a guy whose talents would fit well with this team would be important....as Dextor Pittman would just be too big and slow for me to pick him over a more athletic guy in Cousins (although i wouldn't complain if he magically appeared on our team).

The point of this thread was to find who would be the best fit. Harangody I would agree would not be the best but he certainly would make the team better, I can't think of a way we add a guy like him (hate him with all your heart or not) and not get better. Do you really think this team doesn't need offensive help? The last 4 games we have scored 63, 51, 79 (OT) and 63 (OT)...and only one of those games was against one of the upper echelon Big East teams. So its not like we are lighting anyone up. Id gladly take his 24 pts and 10 boards a game.
