I would have thought the moral of the story is that domestic violence is wrong.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

I thought the moral of the story was cops are evil liars that went to the Beard's house in the middle of the night and woke everyone up to arrest Chris on a story they plotted while eating doughnuts and getting cash from TA&M alumni.  At least that's what Beard's attorney says happened. I trust all members of the BAR Assoc.

Jesus chri...tower, do i have to preface everything for you guys?  you can pontificate all you want, but beard's fiance claimed there was NO strangling and was in fact acting in "self defense"  so if there was domestic violence, according to randi, (beards fiance) the violence must have been by her, which would still be wrong of course.

the larger point is you anti-meat people can't help yourselves from looking for "gotcha" moments with us can you?  grow a sense of humor once or i'll just take my doll house and go home

Like I told Willie, just 'tower' is fine.

I thought the moral of the story was that "trying and convicting" Beard on Scoop (aka expressing an opinion) based upon publicly released evidence was unfair and that only a judge or jury were allowed to express opinion on the matter.

Absolutely amazing that there are Marquette grads who cannot understand the difference between the two. OJ Simpson, George Zimmerman, and Casey Anthony ring a bell? They were found not guilty by a court of law.

We should be so lucky.

And anyway the police apparently have evidence of her injuries so…

I’ve never had to act in self defense against anyone, but I can’t imagine I’d wait 15 minutes to do so if I really felt threatened…

MU basketball thinks it's great!

They honored Jacob Blake and everyone here supported it.

Not as despicable as a university that would honor Jacob Blake.

I was told to always count to 600 and if I still felt I was in danger, react with whatever means necessary to protect myself.  Beard counted to 900 and still feared for his life amid the wonton destruction of his eyeglasses.  What bravery TBH

yes, i know that sully.  my whole point was the lengths some will go to protect the other despite the fact that there was most probably violence against his fiance.  it's usually the sign of a real problem the abused cannot seem to get out of, like an illness.  hopefully someone can save her from further injuries and use this incident, as public as it has become to save her from potentially worse

anyone who interpreted my remarks as me being ok with violence against women is a moron
