Kolek planning to go pro
We'll have the destination later tonight, but it's Selection Sunday and Marquette is going to be in the NCAA Tournament, and that is worth some celebration. I spent the day scrubbing the bracket, evaluating the bubble, and finalizing (for the most part) where teams would end up. There are a few hours for things to change (looking at you, Richmond) and we will update as necessary, but this is where things stand, with commentary on the protected seeds, Marquette's seed, and the Bubble. I also talk about why I went against my typical process of not adding teams that "play their way in" and the reasoning why.https://www.crackedsidewalks.com/2022/03/marquette-is-dancing.html

Richmond might have just kicked X out of the dance
Wonder if Richmond will bump MU off a possible 10 seed?
Davidson has a very unimpressive resume. They have a 1 point win over Alabama on a neutral floor and that’s it.
I think you don't like or understand metrics. Their resume is very similar to Marquette's.
Well, I have a degree in Math and CS so I know a little bit how numbers and metrics work and respect them to an extent, but they’ve played only one or two at large teams all season. While on the topic of understanding metrics, isn’t this your list for BE player of the year rankings?GillespieColeKalkbrennerMooreFreeman-LibertyNungeAlexanderLewis3 of them didn’t even make the second team (2 others didn’t make the first team), so I’m not sure what metrics you used to come to that conclusion but I would re-evaluate for next year and check your own understanding of them.
NET ranking as of yesterday.Davidson 38Marquette 43.
