Carlino!!!!

make our damn freebies and we are up early.

1 good thing though. Steve and Ox had their way down low vs Gtown last year. Granted they have Smith now but it looks like Luke can get pretty good consistent opportunities already.

It is nice to see Du. Wilson and Carlino hit early.  Sometimes seeing the ball go in the hoop can be a big relief and lead to a big game.

If we don't start getting shots we are in trouble.

A 3 contest vs them is a bad idea

He actually has a really nice looking stroke from outside this year.  I think focusing on shooting this summer did a lot of good.

Yeesh. Any way to track how many of those resulted in a long rebound and points on the other end? Feels like every single one.

Should feel good that we are not playing very well and only down 3

But game also has a feel that it could unravel quick. We need to pick it up.

that's the sketchy thing though.

Potential to get it together and maybe pull it out

Or get steam rolled at any moment.

They are getting o rebounds, open 3s and not turning it over. Playing with fire.

seriously what the hell are we doing

Lazy passes/turnovers. Worst passing of season so far
Getting killed on offensive boards
Missed breakaway
Three out of four fts missed (only ones btw)
And DSR has not gone off yet.

Still in this one but Fischer needs to shoot that little hook shot more.

Most frustrating thing is while we knew this year was a work in progress.

Normal MU teams would demolish this league. Can you imagine Jae/DJo against these teams?

Wrong year to rebuild.

Team needs a 6ft10, 250 forward who can rebound. Oh wait, next year.......

I also hope Nick N is a sharpshooter. No one on this team can hit anything from outside.

They go zone. We turn it over 3 straight times before Wojo finally gets a timeout. Bad play, worse coaching.

Carlino back on bench please. Brutal and it leads to number 4 on Luke. Should have stuck with that lineup that got them to one. Don't get it. Two possession, two tos

How did Carlino lead to number 4 on Fischer.

Steve and Luke need to play together otherwise it is inside to foul Luke out. Better to save Luke with him and Steve in game versus an easy ISO.

Somehow the box score claims he only has 1 TO.  I can count three off the top of my head.

any hope of tying the game he needed to shoot a 3 to make it a one possession game with such little time left

He technically had only 2.  The third was on an inbounds, where since no one has possession a TO cannot occur.  So if you count that he had 3.

Huh.  That was the third one I was thinking about.

So since it is our ball under the basket and we throw it away how is that possession scored if not a TO?

Strangely, it is not (although I agree it should).  When the ball is being inbounded technically no one has possession yet.

I think a Hoya jumped into him. I thought that was a bad call. They replayed it once and did not again. That's why every possession is important. Have to make the plays and value each possession
