The flag is a good idea, I like it.

I'm hoping the students' UW shirt is part of a "Blue out".  Or a white out, black out, green out, or pink out.  I don't need another gold shirt to use as a dust rag.

Marquette Students, UW Students, all students?  My daughter is a daycare student, can she have a free shirt?

I like the idea of gold t-shirts as giveaways. Frankly, nothing looks better than a packed BC with 90%-plus fans decked out in gold. It is the "color" of the program. Too often, there are mixed messages about what the preferred at-game dress color is -- blue, baby blue, gold. Big time program fan bases typically gear-up with one color. I like the fact that our fans have (with a few exceptions) taken on gold as the game day gear color.

Two points:

1) I don't want to complain about free stuff (though that's what I'm doing  ;)), but I'm getting four free gold shirts a year and one non-gold (blue/light blue) shirt.  That's why I have used a few gold shirts as rags.

2) The student section is already close to 90% gold, and will be even moreso already for the UW game.  Generally, those who don't wear gold do it for attention to try to stand out or because they generally don't like the "pee color" and won't put the free t-shirt on if it's right in front of them.  If they are giving away gold shirts, it should be to non-students, less than half who usually wear gold.  If there's a free shirt to students, make it a different color and have that entire section in a different color.

I agree. But I must admit that they look great on the unis.

Agreed.  I would rather have this than an Al bobblehead.  Both are about the same size but the statue is much more realistic.  Bobbleheads are always pretty generic.

Agreed.  The students are already in gold.  It's the other folk that need the gold shirts.
