I hope he is able to get his stuff together.    Good luck, young man.

I never wanted him

Can you explain why I (or anyone) should care who you wanted?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I think this is more a loss for Brent than MU.

If Brent stayed the only way he was coming was if JJJ or STj transferred.  Remember we were 1 over on scholarships.

So, I 100% agree with you that I would rather have JJJ or STj over Harris.

Don't think the MU administration wanted him either.

Guy that was suspended for senior year and a third of junior year does not fit their profile.

If Bert stayed and our entire roster was transferring out Malek still was not coming to MU.

I love how you guys are dumping on a kid who got caught smoking pot......

Something about glass houses ....stones....etc....

AKA.....How many of you have partaken.....At least 50%.....

If the kid can play....and has no other issues.....

I have no problem with it......

Pot will  be legal in a majority of states within 20 years....

As long as the government gets their taxes out of it.....

You aren't wrong.   Who among us would want to be known for the stupid crap we did when we were 17-18?    Teenagers have been doing silly stuff forever.    The big difference that I see is that we always did our best to hide it from our parents, whereas today's teens seem to want to flaunt it in social media.     Which is just another version of being impulsive and narcissistic without thinking through consequences.    Isn't that one of the defining characteristics of being a teenager?    But in this case, the dude set a girl's hair on fire.    A poor choice, even by normal teenage standards.   Pot?   Meh.   This?

i'll take a pot smoker over someone who gets on a message board and calls a kid a punk.  i wonder how many people on this site smoked or drank in high school even though they signed a code of conduct that said they wouldn't...then turn around and rip a kid like malek.  what a joke.

It's not about pot. He set a girl's hair on fire. Yes, that makes him a punk. And it makes you a moron for not understanding the difference.
