My guess is that Buzz will get a 2/3 with either Cassell, Shayok or Hill.  And then someone with size like Lammers or Miller.

I doubt he oversigns.

FYI...Most of the perennial powers, Duke, UNC, etc cooled on Hill after a dismal performance this summer...his stock dropped and is dropping.

I know of 15 open scholarship offers for MU where we haven't been eliminated:

Alex Robinson
Nate Mason
Lindsey Hunter IV
James Blackmon Jr.
Ahmed Hill
Sam Cassell Jr.
Marial Shayok
D'Angelo Allen
Zach Smith
Paul White
Travon Bunch
Tory Miller
Khadeem Lattin
Jabari Craig
Ben Lammers

I'm hoping for one of either Blackmon Jr/Hill/Shayok and one of either White/Lattin/Blammers. Or maybe a nice JUCO or senior transfer

White named his final five and we were not in it.

Are Indiana and Floida still in? For that matter, are we? Thanks in advance to anyone with an answer.

Yeah, Indiana is still in, although word is their first choice is Isaiah Whitehead.  Florida is in as well.  He wants to sign in the fall after visiting all five of his finalists, including MU.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Here's how I see it.  Two scholarships available, likely to go to one big and one switchable.

Most Likely Switchables
Ahmed Hill
Marial Shayok
Sam Cassell, Jr.

Most Likely Bigs
Tory Miller
Ben Lammers
Jabari Craig

Maybe not officially eliminated, but I would be very, very surprised if anyone that isn't bolded there was still seriously considering us. With the last two schollies, I expect 2 of the bolded guys, and if we don't get 2 of them, more likely than not I think we hold off and look at other JUCOs or senior transfers, possibly a late riser in the Spring.

Craig just used his first visit on USC, no other visits setup as of yet, as far as I can tell.

I'm not sure if that's true anymore. We seemed to drop out of contention for awhile, but VC just added Paul White back to our target board after previously taking him off. I think we are still in the race. Could be wrong though

On a side note, the ex-Milwaukee city kid, Cimmeon Bowers is going to Florida State.

I can't see it. I think we were just out for too long, and Malek Harris fills the need the staff saw for White (and seems they like preferred Harris).

Can anyone explain how Travon Bunch hasn't accepted if we've really offered him?

Depaul is making a hard run at him. I don't know much about him other than he's tall and skinny. He seems to have very little hype for a 3 star 6"10 big who is right in our backyard

White is listed at 6"9 by VC. If he beefs up more, we could play in him in the post while Harris plays the role of a traditional switchable. Hehe, "traditional switchable"
