As usual, I will do my duty and not change my name.

Worked for Henry, Markus, Joey, etc, etc, etc.

You're welcome!

Not referencing Raftery's parlance, but it was a major UPSET (another equine-roots of sports terminology origin) when ONION beat Secretariat.  The bloodline is here for this young Man-o-Warrior....and he is bred for, and by,  PACE influences...and can carry that speed a distance of ground.

What I do know is that Arizona fans will have a meltdown if they don't get Mannion. They really think its a #donedeal

No basis for this whatsoever but I think we get him.

Otherwise he's just rude.

I think Jimmy B might have some contact with that couple.

Onion was trained by the Chief, Alan jerkins. Jerkins also beat secretariat in 1973 with a nice colt named Prove Out.

Yep, these wins earned him the moniker "TheGiantKiller" and his son Jimmy dedicated VE Day's Travers win in 2014 to the Chief, who was in failing health. A true old-time "hey-oats-water" horseman who never played loose by the rules. Which brings to mind another horseman of impeccable integrity who we lost recently, Richard Violette. He has worked tirelessly for backstretch workers in New York for years, and was known for treating his stable hands, grooms, and exercise riders on an equal par with his owners.

My only point of reference for Secretariat is the biopic starring Bojack Horseman!
