According to Luke Winn, Marquette didn't quite make the cut.  Close, though.  Assuming his "on the fringe" group is in order, he's got Marquette at No. 12.

And also assuming DJ doesn't declare, nobody important transfers, and Fitz sticks around to play, since he's graduating, Crean is still here, etc...

they put Wisconsin on the fringe... in that last 2 weeks of basketball they played... what gave them any idea that without Tucker or Taylor the Badgers will score 50 points??  I don't buy this article, and Georgetown not in top 10, they must assume Jeff Green and Hibbert are leaving

I don't buy this article...

I'm not sure I buy it either, and certainly am not vouching for it.  But, all things considered, it's better to be on these lists than left off them.  As the old cliche goes, "this is good for recruiting."

According to andy katz MU also didn't make his top ten, but they are 14th! We need to be more consistent. Especially DJ! If we can maintain winning streaks, then we should be in the top ten sooner then later!

I'll agree with that.

Call me an optimist, but I think with another year of experience and maturity for the team will help with the consistency. Also, the players coming in should at least provide good bench minutes, which means if guys are having an "off night" we can hopefully get some performance from the bench.

I think MU will be in the top 10 most of the year.
