would not surprise me......big man in the state opportunity - - but wow, with no natural recruiting base  that is a ROUGH head coaching job in a league that has had a serious coaching upgrade in the last 18 mos

Just being the messenger here on what a radio station in Omaha is saying.  Remember, I want Crean to stay, so it would be no celebration for me.

I have to think it's the Butler coach, but I"m just passing on what the Omaha station is reporting.  Crean would be an idiot to take Iowa.

It gives me great pleasure to say that the Iowa job is below Marquette's. We have more history, better facilities, and don't have the competition of football.
