He writes for the Grand Forks Herald.

According to the article, JJJ is SOTG.

Not even a mention of Derrick.

I can imagine that there are more than a handful of folks around here that wish that Ners was around today, if only to force him to eat crow about Derrick's strong game last night.

Not really.  He'd go out of his way to emphasize that it's only one game, and then quote past shooting percentages to predict that it will never happen again.  I'd rather just stay in this happy place for a while.

No.  You can actually read through an entire thread at MUScoop now without a problem.  It's nice.

I certainly didn't intend to imply that reading MUScoop isn't more enjoyable these days.

I don't mind people who have points of view different than mine.  I don't mind logical debate about those points.  What I do mind is people who have their button stuck on a topic and never let it go.  And they tell you about their stuck button over and over an over again.

The problem with Ners is that he firmly falls in the latter camp, but isn't self-aware enough and instead views himself (a la Chicos) as some martyr for a holy cause.

Martyrs don't interest me.
