Imaging how awful it would be if home games had thousands of passionate alumni like him?

Also after hundreds of threads and thousands of posts here complaining about the old fart alumni making the Bradley Center a morgue, the last thing anyone here should do is complain about Rick Smith.

+1000 If everyone in the BC had the passion he does, the MU fan base would be one of the best in the country. Whenever I see someone like him doing something like that, I say to my buddy "wish everyone had his passion". Me personally, I'm fist pumping, clapping, out of my seat...trying to get others riled up as well.

Whatever. I have a right to my opinion, never said anything disparaging about R. Smith. If you like the jump around thing that's good enjoy it, I don't care for it big deal. That's no reason to jump all over me for not liking R. Smith. And how does that make me a tool?

You're not alone. I too am sick of the jump around guy. In fact "sick of", is the wrong phrase because I have always found him annoying.

I also know nothing about the guy personally, but remember he chooses to make these public displays, thus opening himself up to the opinions of others.

Agreed. He's having fun, he's a great fan. I have a feeling people that dislike him are the type of people that hate it when other people are happy.
