They're running a story on him on ESPN College Gameday.  Had never heard his story.  His sophomore year his grandma died, 2 weeks later his grandpa died, and 11 days after that his mom died.  The day after his mom died he played in their game against Texas.  Has a stepsister who's 8 now and her dad had just been released from jail on drug charges and requested custody of her.  Now he's playing to be able to support her.  Hard not to root for a kid like that.

I feel like these kinds of stories come out of Kansas's basketball program too often:
