Question for students
« on: February 18, 2008, 07:38:07 PM »
Does anyone else remember the athletics dept. offering full four day passes to the BE tourny for $40 in the past?  I swear I remember getting this e-mail last season but when I contacted the ticket dept today they didn't seem to have any idea what I was talking about last year and certainly not this year.  A few buddies were planning on heading out and this kind of throws a wrench in that plan.

Put the wrench in the toolbox and start saving up for gas.

The ticket office told me today that the $40 tickets will be offered again this year and to expect the email next week.

Go Marquette!

Sweet, that's what I wanted to hear.  When I called today they sent me to the B&G Fund and told me that they had given out their entire allotment and had no idea what I was talking about when I said $40 student tickets.  Thanks Sponge.

And in case you are wondering where these seats are in relation to the court?

First 5 or 6 rows goes to the band.

Behind that is the student section.

Awesome seats for $10 a session.

Here is a picture from our section two years ago.

I guess the next question is how many do they have available/how much competition to acquire said seats?

not too mention of said seats can be purchased, then transferred to a person who lives on the East Coast...

I'd also be willing to go above and beyond the $40 for tickets like those.  Where do I sign?

I too would be willing to pay a student a "service fee" to acquire those tickets.  If anybody would like to set something up, please PM me...
