Ewill is being aggressive on offense, passive on defense. MBao is aggressive and clumsy. OK. Let them play and get better.

Buzz needs to teach Mini Manute to stay within a certain range from the basket.

The aggressiveness is appreciated, but they each picked up 4 fouls. If our plan is to play them in the Big East and let them be that big body that picks up extra fouls on the premier post players then I suppose it will help our starters be a little more rested. Overall I'm glad they both got some extended minutes, and (at times) liked EWill's offense.

Non-play of the game - Mbao gets the feed wide open two ffet from the basket. Rather than slam it home he passes it out to the top of the key. He really needs to develop both a warriors ethos and basic situational awareness in order to play any sort of game role

I was really encouraged by the nice drop step move EWill busted out towards the end of the game. The little baby hook he threw was sweet

In many ways, EW showed more offensive diversity today than JM did in 9 games.

EWill has some assertivenes to him, at least offensively. Proof that a freshman who isn't fully developed doesn't need to start and have the offense run through him to do more than get stuffed inside. He's got a long way to go, particularly on defense, and it's unfortunate that the 147 minutes Maymon got can't be returned to give to EWill and Mbao since we've only got one more cupcake for them to learn.

EW's loss is UCF's gain
