[Cracked Sidewalks] Notre Dame Preview
« on: September 27, 2023, 08:13:09 AM »
Irish fans have cause for optimism in the future under new coach Micah Shrewsberry, who led Penn State to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in over a decade and win in over two decades before heading to South Bend. But based on this year's roster, that future looks like it's still a couple years away. Cracked Sidewalks breaks down an inexperienced Notre Dame squad.

That has probably never been more true in terms of on-court product than this year. Their team looks truly awful.

Looks like this will be the first game we'll be going to this season. I'm hoping for a 40-point slaughter.

8PM start a tough one for the Vesties.  Well oiled crowd expected.

Thanks for this info. I didn't see a schedule that listed any start times last time I checked.

8 p.m. will be great for us!

Plenty of time for the early bird special at Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel.

Yeah, I’m not going into the city that late.  Leaving my house in the sticks after dark has become pretty dangerous

That's not the city. There are no Bob Evans nor Cracker Barrels in Milwaukee. Gotta go to the 'burbs for that stuff.

I meant the game.  8PM is crazy.  Anyone leaving their house anywhere in this nation after dark gets what they deserve

Have you ever tried their roast beef dinner? It's quite good with country green beans and mashed potatoes.  : ;)

...so how much are we paying them to play us?

They came here in exchange for one beating in South Bend last year.

Notre Dame beat Xavier 91-84 in today's closed scrimmage.

High-scoring game.

"Making matters worse, every player that averaged double-digit minutes is gone."

Given ND's sorry performance last year, is this really making matters worse?
