Kolek planning to go pro
Kevin Harlan/Dan Bonner/Stan Van Gundy on the call.
Whose gotta work ;/
No TK yet, worried
Shaka said he will be in uniform Friday. That’s all he said
Has anyone seen WKU play?
All and all, got to be happy in the midwest in a city Marquette is familiar with and on Friday, giving MU an extra day to recoup from the BE tourney.
I bet Marquette folks are familiar with lots of cities
This is all a mind game right? We're going to say he'll definitely be ready for the tourney because we don't want the selection committee messing with us. Then once seeding is over we play the "maybe" game to keep WKU guessing.
I posted this on another thread - I think this is what Shaka is doing. He has a player with a legit injury and a questionable timetable - why would he give an opposing coach any more information than he needs to? Wouldn't it be better to spread some hesitance around him playing, so coaches have to spend time figuring out if it will be a combo of Kam/Tre/Oso/Steve playing point, or Tyler? And they only have 4-5 games to watch of a Kolek-less team.IMO it's just smart use of uncertainty. This isn't baseball where you need to have your lineups ahead of time.

Oh....boy. I guess I will take the day off.
Just do what I did before I retired -block out your schedule from 1-3:30 and close your office door.
He should be on the bench. We do not want the chance he could aggravate his injury.
Agreed...my fear has been that TKO isn't really ready to go. I don't think we'll know until game time for the reasons discussed, but we quickly pivoted from the "he'd play today if needed" talk.
