Remember when many Scoopers were saying we had hired the wrong Dookie assistant because the great Chris Collins had created something special in Evanston?

Well ...

I'll believe Northwestern basketball matters when they actually accomplish something more than once every 7 decades and when they actually build a base of more than a handful of people who care about them.

Kind of like Loyola last season, NW hoops briefly became a cuddly national story. Very briefly. Those things tend to have very short shelf lives.

I was at a NU game recently and as I exited, the couple behind me said "we hired the wrong Duke assistant".

Pardun is the only player who would see minutes for MU.  Matty and Jamal would start for them. Law has been a disappointment. It looks to me that Collins has lost the team which is not a surprise.

Not a fan of the uniforms, but it's still really cool that NU let its seniors design them.

On the bright side, after you are done playing, you have a degree from Northwestern.

Have some patience, FFS.

This is neither bad nor boring:

Funny that they took inspiration from the 90s when even the seniors would've been too young to remember them.
