Thinking the exact same thing.

By the way, based on the photo of the Bailey's on Brendan's signing day, looks like there is a younger brother...

Bet Thurl will be invited to play some noon ball. To that end, I wonder if Doc has ever played when he's in for a BOT meeting? Of course Diener would be told to 'go easy' on the old man.

My last three years as a sportswriter in Minny coincided with Thurl's three seasons with the T-Wolves. One of my favorite athletes to interview.
Highly intelligent, willing to expound on statements rather than sticking to one-line cliches, very polite. He was there alongside a bunch of knuckleheads, including J.R. Rider and Laettner, and kept his shyte together.
Even if Thurl didn't like something that had been written, he didn't go crazy; he'd pull the reporter off to the side to discuss it.
Very popular with fans, too. He'd sign autographs right to the last request. A true gentleman, and I have little doubt that Brendan has been raised right.
Thurl wasn't a bad player, either - averaged 13 points over 12 seasons.

Sounds like the type of guy he came off as in the Survive and Advance 30 for 30.

I think Bailey will be a real credit to the program. Unlike a lot of kids his age who have been pampered because of their skill, he'll actually believe that his coaches will make him a better player if he simply takes the lessons to heart.
