Title: NCAA Rule on Over-Signing
Post by: StillAWarrior on January 26, 2011, 09:32:55 AM
Interesting article (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/andy_staples/01/24/oversigning/index.html?xid=cnnbin&hpt=Sbin) on a new NCAA rule relating to over-signing.

Not looking to start a fight (even though I'm sure one will probably occur).  It appears that this is only for football, but someone might know if the rule (or a similar rule) also applies to basketball and other sports.  Even if there's not a similar rule, once they start making rules like this, it wouldn't surprise me if they start to spread.

In light of Kanter and Newton, the NCAA must get a uniform policy that applies across the board to all sports, and not just particular ones.
