Mu 2 of Nations best 4 three-point shooting freshmen
« on: December 05, 2016, 12:34:26 AM »
Our two freshman are both shooting 50% on their three pointers and have each hit at least 16 Trey's.

The other 350 teams also claim a total of two freshmen with at least 16 Treys and at least 50% shooting - Crawford from Iona and pemberton from hofstra.

Nice stat.

If these guys stay around and with the big men in the pipeline. Wojo has MU set up to be a top tier Big East team for years to come.

I also heard during yesterday's game that we are top ten in free throw shooting.

Have some patience, FFS.

But that's only as meaningful as our record on days when the local temp is 58 degrees or higher
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

FTs don't matter.

In fact, I hate it when we are protecting a late lead and our guys step to the line and confidently make 'em. They obviously are too stupid to know those shots don't mean a damn thing.

Wojo is taking the time from practice that could be used on defense to focus on FT shooting.     ::)

yep, rather have a team shot 50% from the line than 80%, as it builds up the chance for more offensive rebounds.
