Oso planning to go pro
TAMUI do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.
https://www.summerfest.com/alumni-charity-challenge/I thought this was cool. Novak, Diener, and a player to be named later are taking on some alumni from UW and UWM in a shooting competition for charity at Summerfest. Proceeds go to the winning team's charity of choice. For MU it is the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee.Gotta say that I don't see us losing a shooting competition with Diener and Novak on the roster.
I'd like Markus as the player to be named later
Andrew Rowsey.
Howard and Rowdy were the first two I thought of, though my guess is that it will be someone who's not playing professionally anymore. Maybe Acker?Would love if Diener and Novak got a certain teammate of theirs to participate...but I can't see that happening.
My guess is Fitzgerald. He lives in town, good buds with the other 2, and a damned good shooter.
We need a minority player to trigger Badger fans
I would have liked MU's charity to have been the NIL collective.
I just saw a piece on "Linsanity," and after Jeremy Lin hit one game-winning shot, the first teammate to hug him was Novak.Novak owes at least half of his NBA earnings to Jeremy Lin, who was directly responsible for Novak getting his one and only big contract. Yes, Steve still had to make the shots, but it was Lin's presence on the court that got Novak into the lineup and got him so many wide-open looks. It was fun to watch some of those games.
I mean...in a way...it sort of is. Look who's on the team and who the key contributors to the NIL collective are.
Also, I think Boys and Girls Club is who the NIL is working with.
At least half hey? …..you should have been Lin’s agent.Ill give you half of my career earnings……Not enough I want more than half!
If you look on the website, they are listed as a "key contributor"
Yes, but won't the prize money go directly to the boys and girls club, instead of what I would have liked?: to the NIL, which $$ would go to the SA, who could raise money for the Boys and Girls Club. Looks like they are eliminating a step.
