They were popular until they were caught sitting on a park bench, eyeing little girls with bad intent.

Plus, the snot running down the nose was gross.

Definitely the most popular rock band among the flute players in our school band.
Have some patience, FFS.

He was too o-o-old to rock and ro-o-oll, but he was too young to die.

This is a great example of the youngsters asking the older and wiser members of scoop for advice and perspective.
Outstanding use of the forum.

Tull themselves?  Interesting 3-hit wonder.  Hard to listen to a full album.

Yes.  WAY more than "3 good songs".  Please.

Why the flute prejudice?

I wasn't a huge fan, but yeah. They had six studio albums that charted in the top 10 (back when such things mattered) and a seventh that checked in at #11.
They weren't Zeppelin or The Who, but far more successful than a three-hit wonder.

Ian Anderson is an amazing musician and composer.

I was not aware of ubiquitous flautist prejudice until today.  And the entire band has solid musicians.

IMHO, Ian Anderson's acoustic guitar playing even exceeds his flute playing.

Be sure to wish Ian a happy birthday tomorrow. Not my type of music, but to each his own.

I’ll agree with more than 3 good songs. Can’t agree that “Bungle Through The Jungle” was one of them.

You don't have to agree, Lenny. There are a bazillion songs out there - something for everyone!
