NHL - 2022-23
« on: December 24, 2022, 11:20:34 AM »
Alex Ovechkin passes Gordie Howe to become the NHL's #2 all-time goal-scorer with 802.

Gretzky, obviously, is #1 with 894. He is the best ever, and that will not change no matter what Ovechkin does, but I really didn't think anybody would catch him in goals.

Now, it definitely seems possible. Ovechkin scored 50 goals last season at age 36, and he does not seem to have slowed down. Barring injury, he could catch The Great One before he turns 40.
