Jay Mohr
« on: April 09, 2013, 01:56:26 PM »
Buzz was just on Jay Mohr Sports on Fox radio.  It was great.  Jay called him his new best friend--said his real name is Julius Williams.  They had never met before and were both laughing hard.  Jay said at the end 'lets do this again real soon.  I want to know what you are up to this summer, what is going on with recruiting...." Jay told him he is all in on the Marquette Golden Eagles.  Buzz said when they make the tourney next year, Jay will be the first interview that he gives.  It was great.  I'll provide link when it comes up.  Very cool.

Jay's a card carrying Catholic. I would love it if Buzz made a trip out to Fake Mustache Studio and appeared on Mohr Stories.

Anytime I hear his name all I can think of is the following from Billy Madison:

"Did you see his balls?"

"Yeah...they were weird looking."

Ha, I also used to think that Jay Mohr was in Billy Madison. Turns out the actor is Brad Whitford.

Isn't Whitford about 10-15 years older than Jay Mohr?

Great interview. All I could think was "...yeah, that's our coach." Love that guy.

Isn't there an MU Alum on this board who worked on the filming of Jay's CBS sitcom 2 or 3 years ago?

He should have interviewed Buzz as Christopher Walken.  He does a spot on impersonation.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

My dad's friend spent his career working in Fairfield County, CT, first delivering packages for UPS and later delivering propane.  Both jobs of which brought him into contact with the many celebrities living in Fairfield County.  Christopher Walken's house was part of his propane delivery route.  One day while filling the tank at Christopher Walken's house he met him.  Mr. Walken was agitated over something and told my dad's friend in the Christopher Walken voice that, "My wife is a b***h."
