Former MU players
« on: June 16, 2016, 11:38:29 AM »
Does anyone know where the former mubb players are. I know Jamil Wilson was with the Mavs for some of this year but what about Davante Gardner, Trent Lockett, Derrick Wilson and Darius Johnson Odom.

I didn't put Dwight Buycks up there because I've heard he has had multiple workouts with NBA teams.

Derrick Wilson is co-running the Derrick Wilson Hall of Fame Point Guard Camp with Ners.  Gardner, Lockett and DJO are playing together in that summer tourney on the MU alumni team.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Not sure about Derrick.

Lockett played in Italy last season and Gardner was MVP in a league in Japan. I would guess that they're waiting to see if they'll get an NBA summer league invite before signing overseas again.

Over the weekend, DJO signed with an Italian team after playing in Turkey then Greece last season.

Gardner only made the easy layups in Japan.  .

I knew Locket is playing for the alumni team but is he playing over seas?

Jamil wasn't really "with the Mavs" in that he was never on their regular season roster.  He played for their D-League team in Frisco all year and put together a decent season.
